Foggy Day

One of the nice things about living "outside" of town is the big open spaces. When the weather gives us snow, rainbows, or in this case fog, I have plenty of opportunities both at home and on my drive to work, to capture nature. I took pictures near the creek that are "ghostly" and ones as the sun peeked out later but this is my favorite. The image looks grainy but that's just how foggy it was, you can see how the road and trees fade into white in the distance. There were more foggy areas but all white isn't that interesting, I wanted to capture enough of the trees against the white to show the depth. Once again, the leafless branches of winter work best here for contrast.
